How do I time a contraction?

Open Labr and tap the start button when a contraction begins. Tap again when it ends. The app automatically records the duration and calculates the interval between contractions.

How do subscriptions work?

The App offers subscription plans that unlock premium features. Payment is processed through your Apple ID or Google Play account. To manage or cancel your subscription:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store where you made your purchase:

What happens if my subscription expires?

You'll keep access to core contraction timing features and your existing data, but premium features will become unavailable. You can resubscribe at any time.

Is the App a medical device?

No. Labr is a personal tracking tool for informational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always contact your healthcare provider if you have concerns about labor or your pregnancy.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No. All your contraction data — timing, duration, intensity — is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your contraction data to any server.

What happens if I delete the app?

Deleting the App will permanently remove all your locally stored data, including your contraction history. This cannot be recovered. Make sure to cancel any active subscription before deleting.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your contraction data stays on your device. We use analytics (PostHog) and error tracking (Sentry) to improve the app, but your personal contraction data is never collected. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
