What is Rhys?

Rhys is an AI chat app that lets you talk to multiple AI models and providers — such as OpenAI and Anthropic — from a single, unified interface. You can switch models per conversation and keep all your chats in one place.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Rhys uses accounts so your chat history can sync across devices. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a password. Your password is hashed and stored securely — we never see it in plain text.

Which AI models does Rhys support?

Rhys supports leading models from major AI providers such as OpenAI (GPT family), Anthropic (Claude family), and others. The list of available models may change over time as providers release new versions or update their offerings.

Where are my messages stored?

Your messages are stored securely in our Supabase backend and linked to your account so you can access your conversations across devices. When you send a message, the content is also transmitted to the AI provider you selected so they can generate a response.

Do AI providers see my messages?

Yes — the content you send to a model is transmitted to the provider hosting it (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) so they can generate a response. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

Is my data private?

We do not sell your personal information. Your account and messages are protected with encryption in transit and at rest, and our database uses Row Level Security so only you can access your own data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

How do subscriptions work?

If Rhys offers a premium subscription, payment is processed through your Apple ID or Google Play account. To manage or cancel your subscription:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password from the sign-in screen in the App using the "Forgot password" link. A reset link will be sent to your email.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion at any time by visiting our Delete Account page or by emailing us at support@notjust.app. All your messages and profile data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

What age do I need to be to use the App?

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA without parental consent) to use Rhys.
